1. We could wait a day & see if he'll finally poop after not pooping for three days already. 2. We could go to the emergency vet and go straight into surgery. My vet told me there was a chance he could pass the blockage on his own bc he's a larger sized dog. So we took the chance of waiting another 24hrs. When he still wouldn't poop for the entirety of Christmas Day, I decided to bring him in for surgery the next morning. And I'm so glad I did.
