One of my dogs was acting lethargic, started whining (abnormal for him), and throwing up his food & water. He even turned down food (very abnormal for him!!). After a day & a half of this, I took him in to get x-rays. Sure enough, he had a blockage in his small intestine. And of course this would happen on Christmas Eve, when the office is closing early. So we had two options.
