The neurodivergent community is evolving, and it’s time we talk about it. As someone who’s been in this space for 30+ years, it was my safe haven—a place where I could be myself in a world that often rejected me. Lately, though, I’ve felt pressure to mask even here. If I’m too blunt or don’t use the “right” tone, I’m told to change to fit others’ expectations.

Many late-diagnosed voices dominate the space, and while they’re valid, it doesn’t mean those experiences represent all of us.
