I think you’re talking about the H2B visa program, which is another important system of bringing in hard-working foreigners to do jobs US-born workers avoid. I haven’t used and don’t know much about that program.

I’m glad you agree that all work is valuable to the American economy. But many right wingers only value those workers who build technology wealth and not the peach pickers who put food on the table and keep prices low. Peach pickers are poor people who don’t have access to opportunities like well educated people like you.

H2b and h1b are both valuable programs supporting the US economy and enriching society. They both need to be revamped to bring in the best, brightest and hardest working people to the US with paths to a green card and citizenship…and with laws to prevent worker exploitation.

This is the H2A program and is different and temporary, nor professional or skilled but of HIGH importance to the U.S economy and food system. I work in agriculture and H2A labor is fundamental for the U.S to have "peaches" on their table. I have seen first hand how farmers cannot find American Labor for their crops and they have to do through the (very expensive and burocratic) H2A program to bring in workers to harvest their crops and orchards.
