Timothée Chalamet somehow became Bob Dylan. I don’t know how else to say it. Ed Norton captures Pete Seeger in a way that I didn’t think possible. I’ve seen Pete Seeger perform countless times. There are moments in the film that I thought I was looking at and listening to Pete. Monica Babaro as Joan Baez and Elle Fanning as a version of Suze Rotolo, called Sylvie Russo, were both heartbreaking and full of promise. Young women on the cusp of everything that the freewheeling 60s represented. /5
