Cardio does not create fat loss. Fat loss is the result of being in a slight calorie deficit, while meeting your protein requirements and training in a way that stimulates muscle retention. Cardio can help put you in a calorie deficit, but that’s it, the actual amount of fat that is oxidized during a cardio workout is negligible.
