Growing up in Oregon, I got to the point that I hated the rain. It took moving away to Montana, Alaska and Illinois for jobs before moving home again to make me realize I could not only live with the rain, I should embrace it. My daughter and I love to do rainy day hikes (in Gore-Tex we trust) and I commute by bike now. Getting out in it and defying it has really helped my mindset.

I love it! I feel like we still haven’t had enough. After the fires of 2020 I promised myself I’d never complain about the rain again and now I worship it.

I feel like at this point no rain days should be holidays and we should all be allowed to go out and enjoy what we can before we are all swept away, the amount of heavy rain lately is ridiculous!

Yup. 54 years in Willamette Valley and love the rain and green, do not, however, like that my front yard is flooded.

I feel like I'm part reptile at this point... When the sun is out I literally go out and sit with my face to the sun soaking up as much heat and vitamin D as I can before it's gone again. 🦎😆

Every year I get sick of the rain earlier and earlier in the Fall but because I’m a whiner, I also get sick of the Summer after about three days of 80 degree weather and wish for rain.

After 50 years in PNW, I moved to the East Coast three years ago. I don't miss the rain. For a solid year I opened the shades every morning and thought "WOW! It's sunny AGAIN!" We've now had a couple days of rain (and might get a couple more) and I'm so over it. Also - fun cultural shift it is 100% okay to cancel plans if it's raining can you IMAGINE? 😀

We need rain in Northern Colorado. In a drought and the winds are coming.
