In 2025, let’s leave the word narcissist behind unless someone is actually diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Why? Because I’m tired of hearing the word. Does this mean people won’t still display manipulative behaviors or harmful traits? Of course not. Gaslighting, love-bombing, and stonewalling still happen, but that doesn’t automatically make someone a narcissist.
