In early January 2009, I was so upset about the murder of Oscar Grant by a police officer in Oakland, I was shaking. Injustice toward anyone is bad, but I had gone down the rabbit hole of finding out how good this man was, how innocent he was, how he was pretty new to fatherhood and just trying to live a decent life and marry his girl... only to have his life cut short and leave behind his fiancé and a 4 year old daughter.
