I’ve been Black all my life and I’ve never been oppressed. These poor “oppressed” folks need to have a conversation with their elders and learn what oppression means.

I've been Black all my life too and part of the definition for oppression is unjust treatment. I bought a condo a few years ago and found out the board attempted to block me by buying it before I could, walked into a florist shop on Valentine's Day and was COMPLETLEY ignored--same when I walked into a bar with a visiting friend, both in the neighborhood in which I lived. Just a few examples...oh, it (on different levels of severity) most DEFINITELY still exists, Miss.

What’s happening is that black individuals cling to the historical struggles and hardships that Africans and Black people endured, using them to support a narrative or a victim mentality. They do this despite having no personal or direct experience with those hardships, while ignoring the fact that they are privileged compared to those who lived in the past.
