Business owners love saying they “take all the risk” but the risk is that they’ll end up a worker again. It’s not like they throw you in jail or kill you for failing at owning a business

You can rack up a lifetime of individual debt as a result of a failed business venture.

If you incurred a million dollar debt through your business how do you ever pay that off after becoming a worker again?

There's no way you're shrugging off the coat of opening a business like it doesn't exist lol. If I open a small 4 or 5 employee metal shop for example, I'm on the hook for 100s of thousands in machines and material. I don't risk just being an employee, I risk everything I've worked for and anything I might hope to have in the future. A company going under isn't just oh well, lock up the shop and send out resumes you absolute parrot

"All the risk," yet they're not the ones a few missed paychecks from being homeless.
