You’re kidding me right? We visited a San Fernando Valley station deployed to the Palisades fire last night. While they cannot share their stance on politics they complained that there is a lack of staffing, lack of resources, and they are over worked, some are working 5 day, 24 hour shifts a week. A fireman said after 20+ years in service, leadership has shut down more firestations and there are less fire engines on duty.
