I know loads of those guys. They all have their balls in their wifes purse😂😂. They are so dependant on their wives that if she is sick or busyz their lives literally grind to a hailt 🤣. Never give any one person that much power oflber YOUR life.

And they always painfully underestimate how much their wives actually do. Sometimes I wonder if they’ve ever set foot in a ward office.

Could be true depending on your career. I think if he got a Japanese wife then it doesn’t really matter if he can speak Japanese or not. Also what do you mean by speak? A guy could be speaking only basic words like arigato and claims that he speaks Japanese. Another guy could be being able to handle most of the daily life conversations but feel like he can’t speak Japanese. Hard to draw the boundaries.

I am a Japanese wife of a man with foreign origin living in Tokyo, and I would strongly disagree with this statement. I have been seeing my man struggling to live without knowing the language. I can answer calls and deal with documents and stuff for him, so I’d say it’s easier for foreigners with Japanese spouse to live in Japan.

Yes, keep leaning on your wife who understands the country's language If she's working, she'll probably feel so stressful and wants a divorce every now and then It's a lot taking care of every single problem of two people without any payment😇

And what is the problem? In most of cases English will be enough for living in Japan. I can speak both but in reality Japanese not really necessary for living here
