The sad part about being a part of a dysfunctional family is that they will spend lots of energy and time on talking poorly about you and trying to guilt trip you/manipulate you to accept their treatment instead of working on doing better.
Rather than hearing you about how what they do is hurtful to you and working on it they waste all their energy on hating on you and telling everyone about you.
The dysfunction runs deep that everyone believes them. They don't question it at all 1/3
