I do not understand why Americans in border states are not more upset about DJT’s threats to make Canada a “51st state”? Do they not understand that it would mean war? Do they think that war would magically stay in the 🇨🇦 side of that “artificially drawn line”? Because I can assure you it won’t. It would all be by Canadian vote, if Canada would vote to become a state then the US congress would have to vote to allow you to become a state. This is so far out of the realm of possibility that only a reasonable person can look at trumps comments as him trolling Canada before negotiations.
