I just read something on here that really resonated with me. It said: "There's nothing heavier than an empty pet carrier." It's almost a year since my little old lady passed peacefully in her comfy warm bed with me by her side. My beautiful calico girl, my Gabby. She was 18 and she just reached a natural end point in her life. Saying Goodbye was so hard but she made her own choice to leave this world and I have nothing but love and respect for that. A strong, independent feline to the end ❤️
