Maybe a little over familiar but also a term of endearment and depends on where they’ve grown up. In some places, this is literally how they greet each other - it’s doesn’t mean anything bad. When I think of the amount of hate swirling around these days, I could think of worse things to be called than hun or love. Babe is a bit 😬

Today I learned that this is most often a cultural habit. 🫣 Now, it only seems a bit strange to me if these words are used excessively - for example, if in a 10-word sentence, 5 of them are "hun," "babe," or "love." Sorry if I offended anyone! We learn something new every day, and that’s exactly what I did today! 🫶

How old is this person? If they're older part of the senior citizen... it's not weird

I always gently remind them to address me by my first name, especially if it is in a professional setting
