A popular grocery warehouse near me sells an assorted sashimi platter for around $32/lb. I saw a lot of people criticizing it online saying things like “it wasn’t fresh” or “they used the wrong tuna,” but none of these people appeared to be Japanese. Meanwhile, all the Japanese people I know are big fans. Non-Japanese people think they are such experts on Japanese food, and I will never understand it 🤷🏻‍♀️

You see nothing but Japanese ppl in a Japanese restraunt outside of Japan? I will go there and eat. All of them eat a certain dish? I will eat it too. I apply the same with Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai etc. Never failed me always had delicious food for low budget.
