Abusive relationships is yet another way patriarchal society shames women, so I'm sadly not surprised. Stay or leave, you won't get it right in the eyes of the self righteous.

“Why didn’t you leave?” “Didn’t you notice before?” “Why did you leave?” “You’re lying” “You could have adjusted. Every relationship has problems” “You shouldn’t have stayed so long” “You must’ve done something to exasperate him” “You should’ve chosen better” Doomed if you do. Doomed if you don’t. I think as women/ humans we need to learn to hold space for each other. When I left a total of THREE people asked me “are you happy. That’s what matters”. I had TWO people who believed in me.

And those same people have the nerve to be shocked if the abused ends up unalived.

Usually men who are abusive or women currently in abusive relationships who don’t wanna admit it to themselves

The abusers will recruit anyone and everyone to then abuse their victim for them by proxy. It's part of the smear campaign that always comes after one leaves.

They just hate women. They hate when they stay and they hate when they leave. It actually has nothing to do with what the women does or doesn’t do. They just hate women. This is just one of the millions of examples where they show their hate.
